Since 2009, MEGA P&C has developed high-performance water-based and solvent-based polyurethane coatings with high flexibility, abrasion resistance, tensile strength, rain erosion resistance, low VOC, ductility, and hydrophobic properties, complying with relevant environmental regulations and meeting applicable industry standards.
For wind turbine blades operating in high-altitude regions, coatings must exhibit superior resistance to UV aging to prevent chalking and cracking. This ensures sustained surface protection over extended periods, adapting to the intense sunlight characteristic of plateau climates.
Coatings for coastal wind turbine blades must balance resistance to salt spray corrosion with impact resistance. To significantly extend blade service life, our multi-layer anti-corrosion coatings provide dual protection: they shield against salt spray erosion in marine climates and enhance toughness to withstand impacts from sand and dust during typhoons.
For wind turbine blades in frigid, sandstorm-prone regions, coatings require specialized formulations. They must retain flexibility in extreme cold to prevent cracking and incorporate abrasion-resistant fillers to mitigate sand erosion. This dual approach ensures durability against the combined challenges of low temperatures and abrasive weather.

The key feature of our Polyurethane Fluorescent coating is its ability to absorb light energy under ultraviolet light (e.g., sunlight, dedicated light sources). It possesses a long-lasting light storage function, glowing continuously for over 12 hours in the dark, enhancing blade visibility at night or in low-light environments, preventing bird strikes or aircraft misjudgment. It is currently being used in bulk on the surface of Sinoma's 123-meter blades.
